What to tell us
The more of this you can include up front, the more useful the first reply will be — and in a fair number of cases we can tell you over WhatsApp that you do not need a contractor at all.
- Where the damp or leak is — which room, which wall, how high up
- When it appeared, and whether it is worse during or after rain
- The type of property: house, apartment, complex, commercial, sectional title
- Roughly how old the building is, and whether the roof is flat or pitched
- Photographs, if you can — they are worth several paragraphs of description
Response times
Messages are answered the same working day. Inspections are usually within a few working days. Active leaks during winter rainfall take priority over routine quotes — say so if water is coming in now.

Sectional title and commercial
For body corporate, managing agent and commercial enquiries we quote in an itemised format suitable for tabling at a trustee or board meeting: scope by element, measured areas, named systems, guarantee terms and explicit exclusions. Site meetings with trustees or a managing agent can be arranged outside normal hours.
Common questions
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Inspections and written quotes are free within the greater Cape Town metro. A formal leak trace involving staged water testing is chargeable, and we tell you the figure before booking.
Can you quote from photographs?
We can give you a range and tell you what we think you are dealing with, which is often enough to decide whether to proceed. We will not give a firm price without seeing it — a photograph cannot show what the substrate is doing under the surface.
